Hot Summer Reading!

School is out, I hope you all have something wonderful to read. Don't forget to read from the Bluebonnet list 3-5th graders, 2X2 list for K-2nd graders, Luminaries list for all bilingual students. Check the links on the right side of the screen for these pages.

School is almost over for the year! Have you started reading the new Texas Bluebonnet list yet? I have read 12 so far and Gollywhopper Games is my favorite so far, but they have all been great! I enjoyed reading all of the others and would love to discuss any books you will read this summer. Just let me know and I will put it on the list for prizes and voting privileges.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you in the library next fall. Come check us out! Make sure you visit the public library and the book mobile this summer. Be sure to participate in and complete a summer reading program. Bring the documentation in when you return from vacation and I will give you a book for your library at home. You should have received at least 4 RIF books this year from our library for your home library. These books are yours to keep, some will be brand new, but if you earned more they will be from those that were donated. All of them will be great reading for your library.

Remember to turn in all of your library books as they are now overdue, (even if they are from another school), bring them in and I will return them to the school they belong to.
